πŸ“ The Benefits of a Regular Journaling Practice βœ¨πŸ’ž

Over the last few months since my recent mid-life sabbatical, I’ve implemented a nourishing morning practice to help start my day with more energy.

My routine lasts about 20 minutes, and can be any activity that connects me with a sense of catharsis in my nervous system … today it was journaling in my garden 🏑

Journaling doesn’t have to be rigid and can take many forms, including writing, drawing, and expressing bodily sensations.

It can be a wonderful, personal tool to inquire, process, express and connect with our inner needs and desires, making the invisible parts of ourselves more visible to work with. We only know what we know!

My fave Journalling prompt ideas:

  1. I journal or draw my body's felt senses.

  2. I journal if I've had an argument or a conversation I feel unsettled about.

  3. I journal my dreams, my glimmers, my experiences, my gratitude, my intuitions.

  4. I journal to describe my noticings in nature, honouring what I see, feel and bringing noticing to the light.

A journaling practice always leaves me feeling more grounded, connected, and empowered.

If you’d love to join me for some nourishing regular creativity, I have some beautiful offerings where we can connect and learn together.
