INTUITIVE INSPIRATION:
One of my ADHD traits is that when I meet someone new, I go all in. It’s really easy to give myself too quickly. As I’ve aged, I’ve learned the importance of boundaries and tuning into my interoceptive energy awareness.
This artwork is about reminding myself not to let that buzz of excited energy lead me forward when I make new connections, instead to slow things down.
Taking that seed of newness down into roundedness.
Taking things slow allows both sides to be more discerning.
