Chrysalis - Original Artwork

INTUITIVE INSPIRATION:

'Chrysalis' is a deeply personal Artwork, about my dreams and hopes for a family.

The painting features a beautiful silvery metallic chrysalis turning into a butterfly, signifying ways we can transform and grow, often emerging in ways we never expected.

As I painted this piece, a beautiful, metallic cocoon appeared on our clothes line and I watched as it eventually unfolded into the butterfly you see in this Artwork. That cycle of transformation of life. Manifestation. A chrysalis womb. This was prior to me becoming a mum and turned into a manifestation of me becoming a mother and the things I would love to have support me as I became a mum.

In this way, we can embrace all parts of our life’s journey, even the challenging time when our wings feel wet and vulnerable; knowing that soon, we will emerge with beautiful wings to fly, cocooned by love’s embrace.
