Art & Chai - Monthly Online Art Making
Your monthly Creative Escape 🫶☕️🎨
2nd Wednesday of every month, 6-7:30pm AEST | Online, via zoom | Adults 16+
Next session 8th January, 2024
BYO art supplies, your fave cuppa/drink, and comfy clothes
Hello lovely,
If you're a sensitive, kind-hearted giver, you'll know how challenging it can be to carve out time for your own regeneration.
Introducing Art & Chai ... a monthly online creative escape with laid back art-making to relax, feed your soul and enjoy some nourishing time-out.
We'll start each session with a group card reading and a short, guided mindfulness to tune into our flow, then I'll share some simple prompts you can use to explore in your art, using the art materials you have on hand. Afterwards, we'll share a little check-in about the art experience.
It’s a gift you can give yourself every month. A time to slow down, connect with like-minded people, and leave feeling lighter, more grounded, and refreshed. Yay!
I'm so excited. My tummy feels both soft and relaxed about sharing this time with you.
Oh, and did I mention, you’ll have access to a FREE downloadable colouring in page, featuring one of my artworks? So either make your own art, or colour in some soulful loveliness.
When:
Our second session will be on Wednesday, 8 Jan.
Then, join us every second Wednesday of the month through 2025!
You'll receive the zoom link prior to the session.
No experience necessary, just a willingness to play, enjoy and connect with your creative side! Grab a cup of your favourite tea, and let’s make something nourishing … together.
Possible BYO art materials:
A surface: printer paper, visual journal, cardboard, notebook, recycled cardstock
Drawing: e.g. coloured pencils, pens, markers, paint pens, gel pens
Painting: e.g. watercolours, little tubes of paint & brushes
Collage: magazines, old cards, wrapping paper, scissors, glue stick
Please note, this is not a step-by-step guided art tutorial, or an art therapy class. It's a relaxed, low-key get-together with simple creative prompts you can explore in your own way.
