Simple, Gorgeous Nature Eco-Prints
Eco-printing with nature is my latest creative obsession. I simply cannot get enough of how beautiful, unexpected and varied the results are each time I forage, and assemble a bundle bundle of plants and cook them up.
It feels like beautifully co-creating with nature. It’s an absolute joy.
There is so much I’ve learned since creating my first eco prints with Artist Kim Herringe back in November.
Through trial and error, online research and lots of playing, I’ve discovered which materials seem to work best and which I’m most aligned with ethically, using the native and garden plants in my area, on Gubbi Gubbi Country.
Here are a few of my recent favourite eco-prints.
I’m building a lovely stash of eco-prints after the last couple of months experimenting, and I’m excited to see what continues to creatively unfold. Stay tuned!
