Delicious new paints!

For a long time now I’ve been hearing artists rave about ‘Golden’ brand acrylic paints and mediums. After my recent purchase of some humongo canvasses like this one, I decided some new, delicious paints were in order.

Meet my new Golden children.

These artist quality paints come in a range of textures – I’ve selected the ‘fluid’ and ‘heavy body’ acrylics to assist me with my watery, washy techniques and building up delicious texture.

I haven’t painted anything with them yet (just WAIT ‘til kidlet goes to bed tonight!) but with a quick finger-dip and paint sniff, I’m in love already.

(Yes, I love the smell of paint. How could I not?! Just not that super-stinky-toxic stuff)
