For most of my life, my hormonal cycles have greatly impacted my physical, sensory, mental and emotional capacity.
Some days I feel great and able to juggle all the balls, and other times I have zilch capacity to even get out the front door.
Once I hit perimenopause, my cycles became more irregular and my symptoms amped up!
So I wanted to find a way to regain some agency.
By tracking my experiences, I could see if any patterns or recurring rhythms occurred each month, then adapt to meet my changing needs.
I also wanted to be able to share my symptoms accurately with my health care practitioners, to ensure I’m accessing more attuned care as my cycles and capacity shifts.
So, I created a customisable Moon Cycle Capacity Tracker - and she’s here for you too!
This gorgeous high-resolution printable PDF features 9 pages with capacity tracking examples and instructions, alongside 6 blank pages to print, or draw directly onto with your iPad using your favourite drawing app (drawing apps not included) and track your own experiences.
I’ve personally found it so helpful to be able to see at a glance which times of the month I’m more fatigued, have lower capacity, or when all feels pretty good! It’s also easier to see if I’ve been struggling for a while, so I can ask for help and share ongoing symptoms with my health practitioners.
It’s helped me put some boundaries in place for when I know I’ll likely have less output capacity.
