INTUITIVE INSPIRATION
‘Desert Stone’ is a one of a kind original artwork, created using earth paints I handmade by grinding local rocks into watercolours.
To create this piece, I studied one of my desert stone rocks; a rosette shaped, natural forming gypsum I’d recently purchased out of awe for it’s beauty, and also beucase I felt so calm and grounded when I held it.
Setting it beside me, I sketched the intricate folds and forms, bringing them to life with ground rock pigments, to bring about the expression of grounded calm I sensed within it’s essence.

ORIGINAL ARTWORK ~ $650 | Handmade earth paints and watercolours on A3 size watercolour paper. Comes in a complimentary IKEA frame if collected from my studio, otherwise, will be shipped flat for postage without a frame.
