Breathe - Original Artwork
THE PROCESS:
Usually Im really confident in art making not knowing where it’s going, but for this one my insides really wanted to know where it was going. Each element had a lovely sense of - just breathe stay calm and relax. The process of art making was reminding me piece by piece, brush stroke by brush stroke. You’ll naturally get to the end. Do you want to get to the end by stressing, or by listening to the guidance? The girl and dog in this piece remind us to have a bigger perspective, to stand back and look.
INTUITIVE INSPIRATION:
This calming Intuitive Artwork features flowing acrylic paint, collage and silver leafing amongst floating lines and pastel hues.
I recall how creating this piece felt calming, as I mindfully moved my brush over the surface with flowing lines and breathed. Afterwards I felt embodied, secure and flowing with my experience, like a flowery tendril in the breeze, yielding to the flow of life.
