In Colour Me Happy art classes, your young artist will experience a fun fusion of imaginative art experiences, natural and manmade art materials and wellbeing-inspired processes to nurture their hearts and minds!
Facilitated by Miss Chrissy, artist and art therapist (that’s me!), we’ll explore drawing, painting, collage, sculpture, natural materials and intuitive art-making processes, to help strengthen your child’s emotional intelligence alongside their creative skills.
Our art sessions accommodate for respectful social interactions in a supportive and inspiring environment, as well as instilling important values of sustainability in art-making with the environment.
We love colour, imagination and creative exploration in this class!
We may also make visits to the nearby Hay’s Inlet bush track nearby for nature art excursions, during our art classes. You will be advised of excursion classes prior.
Suitable for:
Kids who enjoy the process of art-making with a wide range of art mediums, including drawing, painting, sculpture
Kids who may be sensitive or a little anxious, and could benefit from a calming, supportive environment for art-making
Kids who can participate in creative activities for 1 hour, including some short mindfulness experiences
Kids who love art and nature!
