New stationery goodies in my shop

With the market rush now over, the pace has once again slowed to a lovely, manageable pace here in my studio. Yesterday I had time to give my etsy shop a full revamp and restock, so I thought I’d share a few new goodies with you …

New notebook design ~ Bulbous blossoms

Bulbous Blossoms was a painting I created in 2009, based on a photograph I took of some beautiful Lotus posies I passed at an outdoor Thailand street florist. Yes, I know it’s not an exact replica of the photograph, but I figure, why should it be? Inspiration comes in many colours and textures :) Bulbous Blossoms is available as prints also.

In other news, I’ve finally I’ve had time to photograph my new greeting card sets! I wasn’t sure if the pics would turn out as it’s been a bit rainy in Brisbane lately, but with a bit of Photoshop magic, I think they’ve scrubbed up well.

They’re available in four different series. The one above is the ‘Whimsy’ series, and there’s also ‘Paintings’, ‘Healing’ and ‘Heart’ series available. All of these cards are backed with little blurbs about the artworks to make them a little but more special, and they come in sets of three. YAY!

Prints of these are available too, like the ‘Storms Bring Rainbows’ print below, which I created during the Brisbane floods last year, while I was pregnant with my little man Max (who, buy the way, turned 10 months old the other day. How time flies!)

Finally, I’ve made my etsy shop the sole place to go for my originals. I really like to make my originals affordable, so I’ve added a few smaller artworks from $34 into my shop, like ‘Our Path’ and ‘The Day it Rained’ below.

Both of these artworks were inspired by a walk along the beach with my baby boy. It was one of those insightful days when nature seemed to share her secrets with me.

I hope you’ve had a lovely, insightful week yourself.
