    Creative Materials & Ideas

BYO supplies that feel good for your soul/hands/nervous system.

There is no right or wrong in what materials you choose for Art & Chai. This time is about self-nurture and regeneration, so choose materials that feel simple and achievable - rather than something that requires all your energy, concentration or mojo!

    Examples might be:

Drawing, painting, jewellery making, slow-stitching, collage, clay, LEGO, natural materials, weaving, sculpture, colouring in.

I have a little art cart beside my computer with a few creative options, so I can tune into how I feel on the day.

  • Line drawing of a girl with long hair lying among flowers and foliage, smiling, with a background of clouds or abstract shapes.

    Freebie Downloadable Colour-Ins

    Print & Colour to regulate

If you’d like to keep things super simple and playful, you’re welcome to download and print one of my downloadable colour ins.

I have made a couple for you to choose from, both are inspired by two of my fave artworks.

Click on the bold title to download the colour in, and if you’re interested check out the artwork they’re inspired by in the brackets to learn about the story behind them.

Little gentle reminders

I’m so glad you’ve decided to carve this time out for yourself. It’s so important in our busy lives to book in blocks of time to fill our cups with enjoyable, regenerative experiences. Otherwise, our life fills up with all the to-do’s on our list!

If there are any sensory tools you’d like to bring along, please do. These might include earphones to listen to your fave music while you create, cushions, tea/drink refills, snacks. Whatever will make this time a nice little 1.5 hour sanctuary experience!

Remember, this will not be a step-by-step guided art tutorial, or an art therapy class. It's a relaxed, low-key get-together, where you get to choose your art mediums, alongside simple creative prompts I’ll provide on the night, to explore in your own way.

I’ll see you online soon! 🩷 Chrissy
