Hella Rosella - Original Artwork
INTUITIVE INSPIRATION:
I had just installed some new garden beds outside my studio and put a lot of rosella plants in there. This plant has a lot of beautiful pods so I stood outside painting, really trying to honour their form with the outlines. This feels earthy while being joyous and flourishing.
THE PROCESS
This artwork features painted detail using handmade paints I created from my home region in Moreton Bay, Australia.
