Lived Experience Insights: Examine meaningful accounts that promote inclusion and belonging. 

Enhanced Representation: Depict people, places, and objects that enrich your sense of connection. 

To fully engage in this course, you’ll need the following materials:  

  • Art Surface: Choose between paper, fabric, or cardboard.   

  • Meaningful Found Items: Collect a small selection of personal items (e.g., seed pods, flowers, LEGO characters, shells, jewelry, crystals).   

  • Drawing Mediums: Be ready with crayons, pens, colored markers, and/or pencils.   

  • Comfort Items: Bring any drinks, snacks, fidgets, or personal accommodations that you need for comfort and participation.    

Optional:

  • Collage items, scissors, and a glue stick for added creativity.
