Art therapy inquiry: Elephant Garden

Hello gorgeous.

Today I’m excited to take you inside one of my nature-inspired art therapy inquiries.

In this video, I engage with natural materials in co-creation with my felt sense, to decipher what nature ‘wants’ to explore with me. I connect to sound, place, my inner sense of ‘just rightness’ and found items, underneath my favourite poinciana tree in the front garden.

As I documented my process, I noticed an elephant’s eye and trunk emerge in the tree. Can you see it too? Created using found nature items and hand-ground rock pigments.
