Kids Intuitive Family Mobiles

We are now into week 6 of our 8 week Intuitive Kids Art term and today we got to know each other a little more by creating Intuitive Family Mobiles.

AS always, we started with a short meditation, this time sensing into our heart area (where our 'Love lives') and imagining all the special people in our family residing there. We sensed into their fathers and energy and gave them each a 'colour' to express how they feel to us.

From here, we had a large range of materials to create with, from wooden pegs, to recycled boxes, fabrics, coloured paper, paint pens and washi tape. Here's what the children and I came up with ...

I love how personalised they are, each with a special story attached within it. Next week, we are going to make Intuitive Houses as an extension of our family, home and belonging theme this term. Such wonderful, meaningful stuff!
