Fabric Cushions a comin’

About ten years ago I had a dream. From the depths of my tummy I wanted to make beautiful fabrics and have them made into cushions, couches and a whole manner of other loveliness.

Fast forward almost a decade and I’ve found a supplier to print my fabrics and I’m negotiating a local sewing contractor to sew them into nice fat plushy cushions for me.

There’s lots of little decisions to make:

Which part of the designs do I use? The whole thing or a repat pattern version?

Double sided or single feature panel with contrasting plain backing?

Either way, it’s getting exciting. I’ll be getting some samples made up in the next month or so and I can’t be more excited. I’ve sat on this project for so, so long and it’s truly a dream coming to fruition. I’m starting with cushions … and one day …
