Presenting 'Love Our Landscape' Nature Art Project

Hello colourful friends and fam,

This week I am SO very excited to share an eco-friendly nature art project I’ve been developing over the last 6 months, called ‘Love Our Landscape.’

In this project, I created a series of new nature artworks including sculptural installations, videos, sound recordings and photographs using 100% natural materials (fallen leaves, seed pods, rocks, seaweed, shells etc) to embed deeper sustainability in my arts practice, whilst inspiring care for our local spaces around the Redcliffe Peninsula, where I grew up.

I loved collecting all the natural materials for each piece in a basket, and creating them along pathways, in bushland and along the beaches for people to discover. I hope you love them too!

Be sure to keep your eyes peeled for upcoming information about the exhibition and available artworks. A special thanks to Moreton Bay Regional Council and Queensland Government for the funding and support to develop this project.
